Date format conversion to local does not works properly

There exist functionality which allows changing data type - in my case after unpivot date columns I got date values as text.  I tried to change the type to local date format (Latvian) ... but...
Need Help

    Hi Girts,

     

    By my tests, I cannot reproduce your issue in my site. 

    Maybe you could have another try with setting the locale region settings of your system?

    Normally, Date Type conversion can be tricky depends on the locale of system you are working on.

Sorry for late replay. I tried that solution already, but it does not solve my issue. 

 

I accepted your solution as solved - but as much I found out, there is a conflict with win10 language with US language/keyboard.
