Date format changes made in dataview not reflected onto visuals

Hello!
I have a date table one of whose column had a date datatype of the format "dddd, mmmm d, yyyy" originally and i changed it to "mmm , yy" but this change doesn't reflect on visuals instead it displays the original format itself

@Kushalappa_BE , You are using date hierarchy, That is why you are getting the standard hierarchy name. Right-click on the date in the visual/ object pane and use the date. Also, always prefer to have a date table with all columns what you need instated of the hierarchy
