Hi,
I am wanting to use this date filter in my reports:
I am also wanting to do a Year over Year comparison with the data after the date is selected:
As you can see, I filtered the October 17, 2016 - October 17, 2017; it's given me just that [ NOT year over year ].
If I filter just October 17, 2017; 2016 column goes away 😞
Could someone please help in this?
HI @Anonymous,
>> If I filter just October 17, 2017; 2016 column goes away
Current slicer only support show the filtered part. If you removed the 2016 part in your slicer, matrix visual will shows the filtered 2017 part.
In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you write a measure to get the previous records based on calendar date.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
Hi,
Your question is not clear. What do you want to show in the Table visual?
Hi,
Try to use the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR() function.
Hi,
Share the link from where i can download your file.
I attempted the "sameperiodlast year" function.. and got this error when using it in the matrix:
:: Function 'SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR' expects a contiguous selection when the date column comes from a table on the 1-side of bi-derectional relationship
