Hello PBI community,
I have the following scenario: I have projects which go through several stages at different dates. I have a page level filter (Filter 1) which filters them based on said stage. I also have a date filter based on the date when these projects were completed (Filter 2).
The way it is currently configured, when selecting a date range in Filter 2 then Filter 1 "turns" to Completed but the users must remember that if they want to use Filter 1 again they have to reset Filter 2.
Is there a way to make Filter 2 active ONLY when Filter 1 = Completed?
PS: Filter 1 is multi-select so if another value is selected in conjunction with Completed then Filter 2 should not be active
Thanks,
@amitchandak it doesn't really solve my problem for a simple fact - in the example, the message card does not entirely cover the matrix table. This works because the matrix data "shrinks" of nothing is selected and "expands" once something is selected. Unfortunately, I can't do the same with a date slicer, I can't overlap only a fraction of the visual, I have to cover more with the message card which leaves no room to click around it.
Nice idea though 👍
