Date field displaying time

Hi,

i am connecting with live connetion to my tabular model.

When i drag my Month_Date column from my time dimension to Axis in a line chart and choose to display it as categorial in the design tab (diplay all the different months on the axis), the values are displayed witn time 12:00:00.000 and not only the date.

The original value is only date without time.

Why is the time added and how can i remove it without switching the display mode to continues?

*The field definitions in the tabular model are Data Type = Date, Data Format = General

Thanks!

This seems to be a bug. I am seeing the same thing connecting to the AdventureWorks cube. It is a date field, but PBI shows date and time, always 12:00:00am

Set particular format and check at tabular model side only.

I think you model is not processed or properly deployed.

Choose a format without time. the datatype is correct.

Instead of  general format choose one without time.

since i am connected with live conection i have no control of the date formating via PBI.

I will try to set a fromat different than General on the tabular model although when using excel to connect to the cuve everything works fine.
