Hi everyone,
I had a dataset where the date fields were coming from an oracle database and they were as number. After having my dataset done, with relationship and all tables, I changed all date fields in my dataflow to date datatype.
The problem is that the fields are coming correctly as a date, but even refreshing, I don't have the date hierarchy. Will it be necessary to create the entire dataset and relationships again?
Note: these fields are not present in any relationship, only other fields in the tables. Also all time intelligence settings are enabled in options.
Hi @hama21 ,
What is the relationship between your tables?
When the relationship is one-to-many, Power BI will respect your decision and remove the "many" side date hierarchy.
This blog discusses this issue in great detail, please check it out. Hope it will help you!

@hama21 , if you joined your date with the date of date/calendar table marked as date table, then date will not show hierarchy.
It is a good idea to use date table and not use the default hierarchy. Create a custom one if needed
These are the reasons Date Hierarchy can be missing

@amitchandak I'm not using any date table. Another fields that is date time came with default hierarchy, just the fields that I changed the data type and refreshed the dataset it's not working.
And also if I create a new report importing the same table again, all fields now it's with default hierarchy. Just in the dataset that I already had, it's not working.
