Date Table that accounts for Production Shifts

I need to sort alot of our production data using a Date Table that accounts for Production Shifts so that all the shifts occur on the same day.

e.g.  6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, and 10:00pm-6:00 am will all be considered on the same day when aggregating the data.

Hi @Boveitj,

Normally, a day starts from 0:00 am to 12:00 pm. But you want to reset a day to start from 6:00 am today to 6:00 am tomorrow, roght? So that you can calculate the account from 6:00 am today to 6:00 am tomorrow, right?

If so, please refer to my suggestion in this similar thread.

If I have something misunderstood, please illustrate your scenario and expected result with sample data.

If if were me I wouldn't handle this at the date table. I'd handle it at the (I assume) timesheets table. I'm not sure the exact structure of the data but if you have a column that tells you the date that the shift started on, that should be where you create your relationship to the date table.
