Hello,
I am working on what should be a simple project incorporating a date dimension table in my powerbi dashboard. When I create visuals with a filter based on the table's designated date, the measures work properly. However, when I add the date dimension table to the model and create the relationships and then filter on the date field from my date dimension table the values return 0 or Blank.
I have tried deleting other existing relationships on those tables, I have adjusted the data type and format of the fields in several different combinations. I just don't see why it isn't working.
Please help.
Hi,
In the Power Query Editor, ensure that the date type of the Date column is Date.
Yes I can verify that. I have tried several different data types. Date // Short Date format.
Hi @Arul ,Thanks for your quick reply, I will add more.
Hi @bmike4 ,
Can you share a .pbix file without sensitive data? I can't get more information from your description.
