Date Slicer

Hello,

Is there a way to format the date in a Slicer?  For some reason the day of week is being displayed in the date slicer when I only want the date.

Hi there,

Happy to help. If you select the date field you'd like to format, then go to the Modeling Ribbon, and finally select the formatting you'd like, then that will pass through to your slicer. Image below shows this example.

Thanks Reid,

For some reason when I click that Date Slicer and go to Modeling, the format area is grayed out, unavailable.

But when I click the date field in the view, I am able to apply the modeling. Thanks!
