I have a table of data with a date field (last modified date). This field is linked in a one-to-many relationship with my calendar table, however, when I use the date field from the calendar table in my slicer, the data from all the visuals disappears.
Before:
After:
I cannot figure out why this relationship is breaking my data.
I even have another table with similar data, also connected to the calendar table via a date field, and those visuals are remaining intact. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this, or a proposed solution?
Facts:
- date fields are not generated functions, they are raw data in date/time format
- both relationships are many-to-one from data table to calendar table, single filter
- the two tables are not connected to eachother directly, but have mutual connections to other tables in my model, but not those date fields particularly
Hey @ChrisR22 ,
can you share a sample file?
Otherwise can you at least attach a screenshot of the relationships? With only your description it's pretty hard to find the mistake.
Thank you and best regads
Denis
Hey @selimovd here is my model
below is the relationship in question
and here is the similar relationship that seems to be working fine
@ChrisR22 and what is not working? There is nothing to see from the screenshot.
Can you provide a sample file?
