Date Range Slicer not getting disabled using a filter

It is a little difficult to find the cause and give you a solution only base on these screenshot. In order to make troubleshooting and give you a suitable solution, could you please provide your sample pbix file(exclude sensitive info)? Thank you.

Hi Anonymous - Thank you for the response.
I have seen this above post and it is slightly different from the requirements we want to achieve. As we would like to enable and disable a custom date range using a filter and not by using bookmarks.
I believe it is related to this issue which has been posted :-link
Anyone has found a solution for this is issue?
