Date Parameters/Filters

Hi ameera_williams ,
The thing is that i want the bottom 4 graphs to populate that way but i want the top graph to not change.
For this requirement, you can "Edit interactions" to make the visual unaffected by other visuals.
Also, i only want the 'select month' drop down to have the date range: Jan-2020-March 2021, but the data set i have loaded into Power BI has data from 2019. I don't want users to be able to select anything before Jan 2020.
You can set a visual level filter to filter the date from Jan 2020 to March 2021.
Best Regards,
Icey

ameera_williams , You select one date/month and want to show more in trend. You need an Independent table

amitchandak Thank you for your response. I watched your video and tried some of the steps, however i got lost as I am just a beginner in Power BI and i found it hard to translate the teachings in your video to what i am trying to do with dates and bar charts.
You mention at the end of your video that you will be doing a video specifically on dates soon? I will have to wait for that one.
It seemed a lot easier to do this in Tableau!
