Date Hierarchy

I have created date hierarchy using date type column but suddenly I am not able to create that hierarchy and also cant see calender logo in front of date column.
Need Help

Hi Nalandeep ,

 

Apologies I missed it.

Then only one thing I can think of is your conncetion type could be direct query to your data source. That's what is disabling your date hierarchy.

Are you able to share your pbix file?

    HI Nalandeep ,

     

    Unfortunately, I can't think of any other way at this stage.

    • You have Auto-datetime enabled in PBI Desktop
    • You don't have DirectQuery connection mode

    3 more questions:

    • Do you have any relationships in the model on this DATE column?
    • Do you have a Calendar or Date table in your data model that is marked as DATE table?
    • What version of PBI Desktop are you using?

      1. I have created many to many relationship on Date column in model.

      2. I didnt get this
