HI Nalandeep ,
Can you click one of these columns and share a screenshot on what is the data-type of Date column in the People table?
Another question is - What is the data connection mode in Power BI? Is it DirectQuery connection?

HI Nalandeep ,
I understand you connect data using Get Data option. But what mode do you select? Import or DirectQuery ??
What is your data source here?
The reason I am asking this is because if the your connection mode to the data-source is say DirectQuery, the date hierarchy is not shown. It is a limitation on this type of connection.
So if you can tell me after choosing Get Data in Power BI:
- What data-source are you connecting to? database, files, etc.
- What mode do you use? import or directquery?
