Hi,
I recently created a custom calendar in PowerBi as a new table.
It auto-generated a date hierarchy:
However, once I went into the 'Date' table I created and hit "Mark as Date Table', it removed that very perfect hierarchy and this now appears:
When I right-click on it to create a new hierarchy, this appears (essentially more of the same and no hierarchy):
I want to be able to use the time intelligence functions, but marking as a date table removed the very convenient grouping.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks!

Hi @APM ,
You need to first create 4 columns:Year,Quarter,Month,Day:
Then right click on ...of year column:
choose "New hierarchy";
Then rename it as "Date hierarchy";
Right click ...of other 3 columns>"Add to hierarchy":
And you will see the complete date hierarchy as you wish.
