Date Format does not change on Region Settings

I have English (India) as Region Settings in Power BI Desktop. The dates in my imported excel files are in DDMMYYYY format, yet I am getting MMDDYYYY format. In the image below, I'm using a Gantt ...

Sorry, I can't reproduce your issue. Are you using the latest version of desktop?

I'm using that Gantt 2.2.3 visual. Other does not seem to fit the data I have.
