Date Dimension Table using M or DAX - Performance?
I want to dynamically create a date dimensions table based on my sales table. I know how to do this both in M and in DAX, and was wondering if anyone would shed light on which method is preferable from a performance standpoint.

I would say DAX would be more faster and optimized option for Date Table if you have very large number of rows but it would not be dynamic.
With Query Editor, You can create a Dynamic Calender table using Parameters and other logic but the performance would be slow if you have very large table.
