Dataverse data sources in Power BI

Hi!

I'm trying to understand potential differences, limitations and benefits of various ways to connect from Power BI Desktop to Dataverse on one of environments hosting one Dynamics 365 App. In my current version of Power BI Desktop from April 2023 I can see following data sources that I can attribute to Dataverse:

 - Dataverse

 - Dynamics 365 (Dataverse)

 - Dynamics 365 Online (legacy)

As far as I was able to learn there are two ways of connecting to Dataverse: through TDS Endpoint (that would be Dataverse data source) and OData (that would be Dynamics 365 Online (legacy) data source).  Additionally, when trying to use Dynamics 365 (Dataverse) it behaves like it also uses TDS endpoint. Now, I can get the info and comparison between TDS vs OData, however I need help with the following questions:

 - Since we have "legacy" in the Dynamics 365 Online (legacy) data source name, does that mean it is set to be deprecated? Is the end date announced?

 - I know about incoming OData 2.0 deprecation. Does this refer to Dynamics 365 Online (legacy)? If so, will there be no Web API to Dataverse supported? I've heard that OData 4.0 should be still supported but I'm overall confused what is changing and on what level...

 - If we have Dataverse data source using TDS endpoint, what sets this apart from Dynamics 365 (Dataverse) so we see two of them separately?
