Datavers Lookup Column shows only the GUID values

Hello,

 

I have loaded a custom Table from Datavers using the Common Data Service (Legacy) connector. It has only 1 Lookup Column. The values of the lookup column are GUID and I dont see the real values (lookup_name). I can create a new Column and lookup the value from the related table, but I read that this Lookup_name column should be created automaticly when using the Common Data Service (Legacy) connector?!!!

    Hi asalih ,

     

    I think you may refer to this offical blog to learn more details about Common Data Service (Legacy).

    Note:

    The Common Data Service (Legacy) connector has be superseded by the Power Query Dataverse connector. In most cases, we recommend that you use the Dataverse connector instead of the Common Data Service (Legacy) connector. 

    So it may be a good choice to use this connector when the query results will be greater than 80 MB. 

    Or try Dataverse connector.

    You may refer to this offical blog to learn more details about prerequisites and notes when you use Dataverse connector.

    Lookup columns use a many-to-one (N:1) table relationship between the table you’re working with and the target row type defined for the lookup. Lookups are presented in Power BI Desktop as two columns, lookupid and lookupid-name.
