During the last months I developed several Power BI reports with a Power BI pro license in Power BI Desktop. All of the reports are published in the Power BI cloud in different work spaces and worked fine until some days ago.
All the reports are either linked to SharePoint and Power Apps, or to Dataverse, SharePoint and Power Apps. One is even only linked to a single SharePoint list. The system saved all Datasets as semantic models. Though I was not really aware, it seems I had a Fabric trial version running. Now the refresh shows the following error message. Do I really need a Fabric license to connect the Power Apps in this simple way? My IT Administrator says that the Power BI Pro license is assigned correctly. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

@MelanieEB , It may be because of the connection issue. From Setting to Manage Gateways and connection and check, id connection not working, go and update the details using setting

Thank you, seems I found out in the same second 🙂 after struggling for days...
Solved it finally. I had to go to Power BI settings, semantic models, Datasource - credentials and refresh the login to Cds and SharePoint. Now all Datasets can be refreshed.
