I've created a dataset using Power BI service from a spreadsheet on OneDrive.
Now I want to use it to build a report in Power BI Desktop.
When I go to Data Hub -> Power BI datasets it does not shows this particular datasets.
However it does shows others datasets on the same workspace, but that were created when I publish reports using Power BI Desktop.
I also noted that none of the datasets in "My workspace" are shown.
So, my question is: what do I need to do to make a dataset avaliable on Power BI Desktop (Data Hub -> Power BI)?
Hi @aleksvp,
AFAIK, the current power bi dataset connector can only get the group workspace datasets. You can't use it to get datasets stored in my workspace.
The workspaces data connector listed is based on the account and permission that you login to the power bi desktop.

Tks for the response.
But I don't know what you mean by "group workspace datasets." Algo the dataset I'm trying to use is not on "my workspace", is in another workspace that I created with the same user I'm trying to get the dataset through Power BI Desktop. I just mentioned that, besides that, I also noted that none of the datasets in "My workspace" are shown, but this is not the original problem.
HI @aleksvp,
In fact, it means the dataset that host in the 'group workspace'. The user who creates the workspace does not means he always has corresponding permissions, these permission settings can be changed by the group admin.
