Dataset not loading in powerbi desktop
Hi alexthoma - Power BI maintains logs in %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\Traces. These can sometimes reveal what’s causing errors during loading.Look for errors related to the data model or any specific messages that point to issues with the data source connection.In Options > Data Load, ensure settings like “Parallel Loading of Tables” are enabled.You might also want to toggle “Background Data” to see if that affects loading.
Power BI maintains a cache that can sometimes become corrupted. Try clearing the cache by navigating to:File > Options and settings > Options > Data Load > Clear cache.
