Datapoints on graphs

Hello,

I want to add some datapoint to my graphs, and I found a way to do this by adding some datapoints to linegraphs, it sets a dot on your line or bar when you don't have a line. Then I add a tooltip for these specific datapoints.

Now it works fine when you hover over the bar, but when you hover over the dot, it doesn't show the tooltip anymore, it only gives the information from the one dot.

Is there anyway to solve this and show the extra tooltip on the bar and dot? (since the dot is the point people will intuitivly go to)

Thanks in advance!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

I know that, but I want to make this in power BI desktop, not the report page.

I know you can make tooltip pages, but then it shows that page for every datapoint instead of the two or three that are significant. (and the other normal tooltip does not show anymore)

Tooltip pages can be made in the desktop.

Is your request to show a tooltip for only a few datapoints? If I have understood, this would probably require some DAX code, which would have an IF statement to show a result for the correct data points, then blank in others.
