Datamart issue - Sorting 1 column by another

I have a powerbi dashboard which connects to a datamart in our app.powerbi.com area. I have a table on there with dates on it that is sorted in descending order with another field that has the longd...

Hi

Surely this negates the datamart as it's a local version of the model? Also it won't let me sort descending on the sort field.

    Hi ryoungWH ，

    This is more of a limitation in Live Connection. The modeling capabilities in this mode are limited, relying mostly on the data source, and there is no way to sort one column by another.

    In Dirctquery you can use Sort one column by another column, which extends some of the modeling capabilities. So this is more related to connection mode.
