Dataflow connector in Power BI desktop is missing

Hi,

I can't find the Dataflow connector in the Power BI dektop from the New source option inside the Power Query Editor. I even searched for it and it is returning only the PowerBI dataflow ( legacy) connector.

Though I can see the Dataflow connector in the Get Data in the POwer BI main window, it is not responding

Is this a known issue ? If so, is there a timeframe for the solution ?

I am a PPU user ,if it matters

Thank you

  • A day later the connectors are now available for me. Didn't do any uninstalling and re-installing.

    Thank you

Unfortunately I still have this issue. The preview stamp was removed a few weeks ago or something. This connector was available to me till Wednesday. I will try to re-install Power BI desktop and see.
I am currently using Power BI Desktop Version: 2.112.603.0 64-bit (December, 2022)

      Thank you for your help.

      Have a good one

  • Hi,
We have had a similar problem. It was caused by a file missing in the user's Local AppData folder:
    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\CertifiedExtensions\PowerPlatformDataflows.pqx
We copied the file from another user's computer and it fixed the issue.
