Dear PBI community,
I've started to play a bit with Dataflows for my company.
I have created 4 different sources (entities) in a single dataflow which are all sourced from a Web API.
Everything seems to work well as I am able to collect, enhance and plan an auto refresh for the data.
However, when I try to use this data model in Power BI desktop (using the Dataflow connector), I am prompted with an Azure BLOB storage authentication windows for several entities (Not all of them).
I'm not sure why this happens as PBI should use my Office360 credentials to authenticate for Dataflow sources.
Has anyone encountered the same issue?
Thanks for your help.
Gabriel

Hi Gab00, in order to consume dataflow data through the desktop you need to use the Dataflows connector on the desktop, make sure to use the latest desktop application and look for dataflows (beta) connector under get-date.

Hi Cherie, and thanks you for these links.
Unfortunately, it didn't help fixing my issue.
However, I've tried on a different laptop this morning.
I've been prompted with regular "Dataflow connector authentication windows" (not the Blob storage one), and it seems to be working fine.
Maybe it is just a connexion bug that could be fixed by removing previous credentials provided to PBI Desktop.
Anyway, Dataflow remains a beta version, so I'm not worried 🙂
Have a nice day.
Gabriel
