Databricks certificate error

Hi all,

I don't know if there is a solution other than completely rebuilding my report in an older version but here goes...

I am trapped between versions of power bi. I need to be able to connect to Azure databricks as a source, which seems to only work without the attached error in older versions of power bi (I believe it was the September 2020 release). However, somewhere along the line, my power bi has updated to the latest version and I've made some visual changes to the report (not touching the underlying data). This has resulted in me being unable to open the report in the old version "incompatable with your current version of Micorsoft Power BI Desktop. Please install the latest version..." and I'm also unable to amend the data model in the latest version of power bi because of the error attached.

Any help would be amazing.

TIA 🙂

Hi, @martin_nash

hi

PowerBI Desktop and Gateway can only use certificates in the System Trusted Cert Store. This may require administrative rights to the system. Make sure the certificate has been added.
