Maximum 2 data types.
Best solution then store my data in the cloud and continue to do ETL in Power Query?
The business requirements matters more than the simplicity of the data sources. If the requirements are simple and can be easily accomodated using Power BI (Power Query) then I would say yes.

We will need more details but here are some general guidelines:
1. If you have disparate data sources, and there is a lot of cleansing, merging, etc. needed, then I would say use an ETL tool and develop a datamart/data warehouse.
2. If there is just one source and the requirements are simple/straightforward, then Power BI will be enough.
3. If you already have an ETL and a database platform like SQL Server, I would always utilize them, even if the requirements are straightforward - Analytics project usually start small but expand.
