    Hi,

    You might be getting this error because Power BI (or Excel/Power Query) is trying to access an Excel file using the Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider, but that provider isn't installed or correctly configured on your system. Please check if this works,

    1. Download: Access Database Engine 2016 (64-bit) - Pick AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe.
    2. Install it (run as Admin).
    3. If error: use Command Prompt if 32 bit of office installation - AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe /quiet
    4. Restart Power BI / Excel.
    5. Refresh your data.

    BhavinVyas3003 I downloaded and installed 64 bit databse engine access as mentioned above, but still having error and its not allowing me to install 32 bit version.

    please advise !
