Since my Power BI desktop auto-updated to Feb24 version I am no longer able to connect to my existing datasources, receiving the following error message:
DataSource.Error: Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)
Details:
DataSourceKind=SQL
DataSourcePath=med-bidbprd-sql.sysc.onsite\hdmsql
Message=A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)
ErrorCode=-2146232060
It was working on previous version, works fine in colluges who arent set to auto-update and works fine in Report Server desktop. Have tried the login credentials changes in various historic posts, all to no avail.
Any ideas to fix this or do I need to rool back my desktop or wait for on update fix?
