Data values after import not matching with that during data transformation

Hi,

I am new to Power BI and encountering this issue with data improt.

Below is the data when I view my data in Transformation mode, which is the same as what I have in the Excel data source.

However, the entire data gets messed up after import in the data view.

Anybody can guide me through this, please?

William

Hi @yuheng16841 ,

Here are some suggestions that I hope will help you.

1. Make sure the last step of the apply step in the power query editor is the result you want.

2. Make sure the transformation in the power query editor has been applied.

3. If the data type displayed in Power Bi Desktop is not the data type you want, you can select a column and then adjust it in column tools.

For more information about data types in Power BI Desktop, refer to the documentation: Data types in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
