Data prep for Sankey chart
Hello,
I've got a question for preparating the data for a sankey chart. My data contains employees and their function in a specific period of time.
it looks similar too this:
| empl.id | function | startdate | enddate | fte |
| 1 | developer | 1-1-2021 | - | 1,0 |
| 2 | backoffice | 20220101 | 20220501 | 0,2 |
| 2 | developer | 20220101 | 20220801 | 0,8 |
| 3 | datamodeler | 20210701 | 20220630 | 1,0 |
| 3 | developer | 20220701 | - | 1,0 |
| 4 | datamodeler | 20210101 | 20211231 | 1,0 |
| 4 | tester | 20220101 | 20220131 | 1,0 |
| 4 | developer | 20220201 | - | |
| 5 | tester | 20220101 | 20220331 | 1,0 |
Our HR wants to see where the employees go after they leave their function. Do they go to an other function or they leave the company. I also want to add a date slicer with an from - untill date.
can somebody help me preparating the data so i can create a sankey chart?
Greetings, Jeroen

Hi, WettenVamos
Can you explain your expected results in more detail?
I can't identify the source and destination in your data.
