Hello All,
I have accomplished the requirement to show sparkline chart in a table for every row, Value by month. However I am not able to display the value of data point in sparkline chart when I do a mouse over on a specific data point. I referred to many videos and articles which showed Max(Tablename.fieldname) to show the data point value but this is not working for me. FYI, I have other fields in the table as well.
Thanks in advance,
Sowrabha

Hi @Sowrabha_S
As a sparkline is no measure it can't give a concept for a tooltip page / drill through.
But you can create something like this :
Or to put the minimum and maximum point in a column after the spark like :
The pbix with the examples is attached

Hi @Sowrabha_S ,
Unfortunately, sparklines in Power BI tables don't inherently support displaying tooltips (like data point values) when you hover over a specific point on the sparkline12. This is because sparklines are designed to be simple, small charts that convey trends without detailed data labels.
You can post these suggestions (or vote for existing ones) at https://ideas.powerbi.com as those get regularly reviewed by the product team. You can vote for your idea and if there are more votes, the officials will take your Idea and launch the feature at the first opportunity.

In Power BI, sparklines in a table are primarily designed for visual representation and don't inherently support displaying tooltips (like data point values) when you hover over a specific point on the sparkline.
Hi ,
As of now , it is not possible to display data points in the sparklines in table or matrix.
try researching about svg codes or take help of any custom visual.
I understand there is no way to display data points in the sparkline chart. I am looking for ways to display data point value in tooltip using report page option.

Thanks for the great workaround! Another question I have is how do we implement tooltip (from a report page) only for one column (sparkline column) and default tooltip for other columns?
Hi @Sowrabha_S
This is how it works as a default :
I attached the pbix to the first response , you can download and follow.

I have a table with columns such as Key (with other few columns) and sparkline chart. The values displayed in chart are unique to the Key column. X axis in the chart is month and Y axis in the chart is Value. I am using Max(Table.Month) to display the selected data point in the tooltip but this is not working.
