Data not showing

I manually created a table in power bi desktop but it doesn't display when deployed in workspace. Kindly help.

  • Hi Anonymous

Are relationships automatically created? If so, when you loaded that query, Power BI likely auto-generated a relationship between it and the other existing tables. With the applied filters in the report, there are no matching rows.

  • Hi Anonymous , If possible please provide the code or the file itself.

    Possible Causes & Solutions

    1. Table Not Included in Dataset : Ensure the table is loaded into the data model. In Power Query, click Close & Apply.

    2. Data Table Not Referenced in Visuals: Check if the table is used in a visual in the report. Add a Table visual and select all columns.

    3. Publishing Issue: Republish the report: File > Publish > Select Workspace. Verify that the dataset appears in Power BI Service > Datasets.

    4. Refresh After Deployment: Go to Power BI Service > Dataset > Refresh to update the data.

    5. Table Set as "Local": If using a calculated table, ensure it’s part of the published dataset.

    Hi Anonymous ,

Did rohit1991 and danextian answers address your question? It works fine through my tests. Do you have data visible in your table visual objects in PBI Desktop? As rohit1991  and danextian said, please troubleshoot if you are incorrectly modeling relationships or using slicers or using filters.
