Data not showing only in some tabs

Hello,

Some tabs no longer load any data without changing anything to my report, while others work fine. The entire report is sourced from a single table. I have removed all filters, synched slicers etc. but still no fix. If I create a new tab and try to recreate the visuals, data shows as expected. I have checked data types as well, everything is fine.

Something similar happened recently to another report. In newly created visuals in the tab, only part of the data shows. The previous visuals show full data, but the new ones cut it in half (sort of).

Thanks for the help!

I found a solution. If you create a new tab and paste the visuals from the non-functioning tab, it won't do anything. Introducing any data in the new tab will somehow "activate" it and then if you paste the non-working visuals, they will magically start working again. Hallelujah!

Hi, @Adrian_Andonov

Thanks for Kedar_Pande's reply. What are the visual objects you are currently using, and can you provide pbix files for testing that are free of sensitive data and recover the problem at hand.

Best Regards,
Yang

Sometimes, visuals may have hidden filters or slicers applied. Try using the Performance Analyzer to see if any hidden filters are affecting the visuals.

Since data loads when you create new visuals, consider recreating the problematic tabs entirely.

Try clearing the Power BI desktop cache (File > Options > Global > Data Load > Clear cache).

If this helped, a Kudos 👍 or Solution mark would be great!🎉

These steps don't seem to work. I guess I'm only left with recreating the tabs. But it's still very confusing why it happens... if this happens to a big sophisticated report, recreating it could take up a lot of time...
