Data model in the cloud

Hi everybody,

what is the easiest way to push a data model (incl Power Query queries, data model with connections and measures) into a spot where I can connect both Excel and PBI Desktop to it, and where I can preferrably save any adjustments I make to it so the changes are generally available on any platform?

Thx,

Jan

use dataflow for power query - transformation

user power bi desktop to create a data model from data flow and publish it to Power BI Service

for visualization, connect Power BI Desktop or Excel to Power BI dataset

    Hi JuanSombrero

You can create data model in Power BI Desktop and publish the report to Power BI Service .If you make some changes in desktop ,you can save the report and republish to service .

You can also connect to excel in Power BI Service .
