Hey,
Have a table matrix visual as mentioned below. When I try to include a column which has the measure for 'Change(increase/decrease %)' it gives the output for the column as blank. However I can get this column if I create a separate data matrix with only the Change column
So the month columns in my visual can be customised to be any 2 months in my data set
Product | Mar 2019 Sales | Dec 2019 Sales | Change (increase decrease %) |
A | |||
B | |||
C | |||
D | |||
E |

Nithish

The difference if instead of ranges you can give month slicer.
But if your months are related to other like 9 months apart, 1 year part. we can manage with time intelligence.
Example
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
last MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,MONTH)))
last MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,MONTH))))
last year MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))))
last year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH)))
last QTR same Month (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Qtr))))
MTD (Year End) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFYEAR('Date'[Date])))
MTD (Last Year End) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFYEAR(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH),"8/31")))
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

Can you post a screenshots of how your model is set up? (tables and relationships)
