Data load of source queries performance

Good day,

I have a question related to query performance.

Let's say I have 2 queries: "2017" and "2018" with 10M lines each, I make some modifications in these queries and then make one combined query called "All_years" with Table.Combine() function. In the future I will only use the combined query, so I disabled the "Load to data model" on 2 source queries. When I make some modifications to the combined query, it takes a lot of time to load. The question is this, would individual refresh of combined query speed up if I loaded 2 of my source queries into data model?
