Data is not displayed in Data Tab

Hi everyone!

For some reasons the data from the one of my files is not visible in the Data tab of PowerBi Desktop. When I try to filter it there is a list of values. Also the correct numbers appear in the report. The only problem is the visibility in the Data Tab.

Data source: simple Excel file with 1 sheet of data (7.000 rows, 15 columns).

Way of importing to PowerBI (usual): NewSource->Excel (local file on my PC)->Select sheet-> OK (previosuly always used Edit, but there is no more this button, does it dissaper with the new update of PowerBI?)

Other Excel files from the same local folder works perfectly fine in PowerBI (including Data Tab).

Any ideas how to solve it?

Thanks!

I solved the problem by set 'Table' in the original excel data.

When I just get data from excel sheet, it didn't displayed in the data tap (It displayed well in Power query editor)

I set up the tabe and tried again to get data. At the time, I choosed to select table as a datasource.

After that, the problem resolved!

Hi @Sergii24

It looks like there is an issue with your excel file, try to clean it from the bottom up (there might be some filled cell at the bottom of the file).

Hi @Sergii24 ,

Maybe you have made some data filters in Data view, you can enter into the Query Editor to check.

Based on my test in the latest version 2.70.5494.761 Of Power BI Desktop, it have the all buttons as usual. You can upgrade to the latest version 2.70.5494.761 Of Power BI Desktop, and try it again.
