Hi All,
As the title states, there are differences between what I loaded in Edit Query vs what's appearing in Data View even though I hardly did anything to my data.
Here's what it looks like on Edit Queries: https://imgur.com/a/VbCR0fn
That's what I want it to look like.
After applying the queries, this is what appears: https://imgur.com/a/skRzb5K
I don't know why there are changes as the only thing I did was change the data type of one of the columns.
Here's another example from the same file: https://imgur.com/a/y5ScQQt
Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks
Hi @Richmond_Dy
Would you mind share me your dummy pbix? oddly that I never meet this before. It seems the column crossed after applying the power query. I'd like to check it in depth.
Hi @Richmond_Dy
You can save your pbix and upload it to Onedrive/Dropbox and share me the generated link.
Hi @Richmond_Dy
I can't see your data in query editor coz it's a web source which needs credential, please kindly check the data in every step in your power query to make sure they're different with it in report view. also, please kindly update your desktop to the latest version.
Hi @v-diye-msft
I checked every step and it's different from what's in the report view. Also updated Power BI, but still seeing the same problem.
Check out the July 2025 Power BI update to learn about new features.
