Data disappears from visual when x-axis type is changed to categorical

I am a new user in power bi. I am trying to create a visual on a daily level. 

Below is the visual  created where date is showing as number of days of a month when in shared axis- the date field hierarchy is selected as DAY.

Below is the visual when the shared axis shows the actual date field instead of date field hierarchy and x-axis type is selected as categorical:

In this case, the stockouts_frequency data is not showing after the changes.

I need the data for both stockouts_frequency and stockoutcount.

Note: I am using line & clustered column chart.

Please let me know what is going wrong.
