    Hi Anonymous ,

    When you connect .csv file, you can only update data by Refresh manually in power bi desktop: 

    If you want to update automatically, you can publish this report to power bi service and configure Scheduled refresh to update data.

    Please refer the following microsoft document that could help you:

    1. Data refresh 
    2. Configure scheduled refresh
