Data color modeling
Is there a way to model data colors across all visuals so that the colors are sorted by value not alphabetically? I am aware of the fx function and advanced setting of colors but :
1) this option for some reason is not available for all visuals!
2) I want to do this once fo all visuals.
Otherwise if I am plotting many categories I get wired colors.

MOMOMO , Not very clear. But says if need same color for category across visual, you can create a color measure and use that in conditional formatting using field value. But that is true only if you do not use legend in visual

yes that works good for the objective of having the same color for the same "brand" or category across visuals. However, this is not what I want. I want the biggest categgory (whatever it is) to always have the same color.

MOMOMO , that should work with them and sort desc on value for each visual
usually, the first one should pick the same color
or create the color based on rank in place pf category

Hi MOMOMO ,
We can only change the colors as below.
Click on the 3 dots on the chart (Top right corner of that chart) --> Sort by --> Select Department --> Then Select Descenting order option just above the Sort by option.
If it doesn't meet your requirement, You can come up a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.
