Data categorization for measure

Hi All,

I understand that we can't categorize the Data for a Measure.

I have a huge file of 10000 Datapoints where I have the info about Project details, status, savings, Project lead emails etc. Now i have created a Table with dashboard slicers for End user about the type of Projects, Project Status, Progress Level and much More. There is also a column with project lead email (hyper link to create AUto email to Project Lead)

Now end users want to see a project list with all Projects running behind the Plan, they can see it by appropriate selection of slicer and if they want to contact Project lead, can do so by cliking on Project Lead email hyperlink...

However, There could be 400-500 such projects and contact to each via such way is next to impossible. So looking for a option to have a common link with which email can be send to all leads in 1 go.

I am able to create a measure with concatenate of Data and adding "mailto:" in the start. However, not able to convert the Data categorization to web URL as no option for same in Power BI.

Could there be any other option with which I can get it done?

Hi @eilshga,

As you said, we are not able to set the data categorization for a measure. Why don't you create a calculated column with concatenate of Data and adding "mailto:" in the start so that you can set its categorization to Web URL?
