Don't use a hierarchy, disable Auto Date/Time. Then use the column for the X axis and let the visual renderer do the work for you. You can use zoom sliders to zoom into areas of interest.
Most likely you will see the blue "i" in the top right corner, indicating too many data points. Be aware that forced sampling is applied when the blue "i" is shown.

And if the Date/time type is not that important to you, you can also try to change the type to Text, like this, so that he can display the data by minutes properly:
