Data Source Change

Hello,   I;m using Power BI Desktop (Version: 2.46.4732.721 64-bit (May, 2017).   Questions: I'm currently connected to Azure SQL Datawarehouse and have created a dashboard with various visuals....

    Hi train2,

     

    Based on my test, I was unable to reproduce your issue. I didn't encounter above error message when chaning Azure SQL Datawarehouse to a different one.

     

    In your scenario, have you ever connected to the DW2 in import mode in another .pbix file?

     

    If connect to DW2 as a second data source in the same file, does issue persist? If connect to DW2 in another separate pbix file, can it be connected to successfully? Also, can you change Azure SQL Datawarehouse via Power Query?

    Besides, I would suggest you create a support ticket to get more help.
