Hello,
This is the message I get when trying to change the data source to a new excel. The columns are identical, along I did change the name of the column in Powerbi. But that should be an applied step that is applied to all new excel files as well, right? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,
In Power Query, if you have changed the column name in one step, the following steps which reference the original column name will return an error. I suggest you open Power Query, find the error steps, see if it's caused by the column name, change the column name in all code, then load the data, the error will disappear.
