Data Reduction in Bar Chart

i have two bar charts which are connected to each other. when i select one category in first chart it shows the relevant category in other bar chart. In doing so only the relavant bar gets highlited and other bars get dimmed out. Is there any way if i select a bar or category in my first chart it show show only relevant category on the second chart , i mean only related bars.
