@tajshaik When this happens to me ( and it happens pretty frequently these days it seems ) I have to open Task Manager and kill every Power BI process. Then I restart Power BI and it generally works for a while, until it decides to do it again for no apparent reason.

@tajshaik Are you on the latest version? Try turning off all of the Preview features. Restart computer.

yeah i tried everything but its not working.

Hi @tajshaik ,

First, please check if your computer can fulfill the following minimum requirements to run Power BI Desktop:

vyiruanmsft_0-1728960752104.png

If the above one is OK, could you please try the following steps?

1. Update the version of your Power BI Desktop to the latest one

2. Please prepare a excel file with small size data or TXT file, then try to load the file into Power BI Desktop. Later check if it can be loaded successfully

3. Try to load the excel file into Power BI Desktop using other person's computer

Hi @tajshaik ,

What's the version of your Power BI Desktop? Could you please share the excel file which you loaded into Power BI Desktop? Later we can try to load it in my side and check if it can load successfully or not...

When I did compatibility troubleshooting

Once it worked normally for few minutes.

And then it started hanging again.

Is there anything that I should change any settings in my system?

I gave the access but I don't know what's the issue.

I tried with different data sets not even a single data set is loading.
