Hi there,
I'm not seeing a resolution to adding data labels in Power BI Desktop (September 2020 version). I just want to add a data label of a count by state. An example is attached. At this point, I don't care if it is a filled map, shape map, etc......I just need a state visualization.
Is there now a way to do this? Thanks!

Hey @Icey ,
I haven't yet, I installed all the R packages and then the org wanted me to move onto another project, but this is still on my list as we will be using map visuals often in our organization.
Will circle back!
Thanks
Michelle
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can also try to create a R visual: Map with Data Labels in R.

Icey

So bored of super users just cross posting to other posts with the same issue, saying "Try this!"
How about MS tries fixing the problem?
Thank you @Anonymous, I will let you know if this helps with my solution. 😎
